Rooftop Design Talks presents:
AB+AC Architects invite you – architecture student, designer, urban planner, policymaker, artist, creative, and art lover – to join us for an hour of conversation, where we will introduce you to our firm, our projects, and what it means to open a design and architecture practice in this post-pandemic era.
We believe that this means starting a business with a foundation built on strong values and principles from which all our projects begin from. These principles, come from a research-based approach, that we named “The Beauty Equation,” where AB+AC is constantly analysing neuro-aesthetic studies and findings, to learn how architecture and design can improve or at times impair our mental and physical wellbeing.
In this conversation, we will discuss our findings on the importance of beauty in our private and public spaces, how it impacts us, and how we can use various principles like urban -wilding to design better architecture and urban environments for all.
AB+AC Architects is an award-winning multi-disciplinary studio operating within the field of urbanism, architecture and design.
At AB+AC, each project is driven by the research of new innovative strategies and the design of smart solutions for a future of continuous evolution. We intend to deploy architecture and design as tools to satisfy an entire variety of physical, social, economical, environmental and emotional needs, to promote a healthier and more sustainable quality of living.

She received her BArch Com Laude at Politecnico of Milano, followed by MA in Urbanism & Societal Change at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen where she has also been involved in several cultural initiatives as a research assistant and exhibition designer (2015-2017). Since her early career, Arianna maintained an intense working balance between the academic world and the professional one granting her the possibility to work on a wide variety of prestigious projects varying in context, scale, and program. She joined internationally acclaimed practices including Buro Ole Scheeren in Beijing (Architectural Designer, 2019-2020), Superimpose Architecture in Beijing (Senior Architect, 2018-2019), and Gehl Architects in Copenhagen (2016-2017), Aires Mateus Arquitectos in Lisbon (2012-2014). Her experience ranges from master planning (Lille Planning Guide), high-rise mixed-use projects (Tenova Creative Campus Shenzhen and Vanke Sky City Hangzhou), renovation of architectural landmarks (Time Out Market Lisboa), extensive interiors (Soho 3Q Chengdu), award-winning pavilions (CO2 Pavilion), and publication about architecture and urbanism (Atlas of Copenhagens, 2018). Writing about architecture is an effective tool to enrich and nourish her design process. As a consequence of this, she founded The Beauty Equation Project to share her insights and educate on how aesthetics apply to our health and well-being. Thanks to her passion for beauty and geometry, Arianna contributes to each project with sensitive yet bold ideas and executes them with rigorous attention to detail.
