Isola Design District presents “Together As One”, 1 of its 7 exhibitions for the Dutch Design Week. A curated selection of design pieces that embodies both the uniqueness of craftmaship and the fresh spirit of innovation, recalling the essence of the other 6 exhibitions. The majority of these exhibitions are located in the Irisbuurt district and they give space to a great variety of design projects including collectible, sustainable, handcrafted and innovative works. Isola’s designers will exhibit pieces that represents different sides of design, from experimentation on new and surprising raw materials to the reinterpretation of industrial production.

Together As One, will also be the common theme all of Isola’s exhibits, gathering designers moved by the same understanding: that design is not the result of a process, it is the process itself, and we are all called to share experiences and knowledge with each other to make a difference.

The “Together As One” exhibition acts as a mirror of Isola’s platform, bringing together some inspiring and representative projects from designers of the community, in a single location, the train station, which evokes social exchange and cultural fusion.
