Following its grand debut in Dubai, Isola brings the Anatolia exhibition to Milan, which explores the rich cultural heritage of the regions that have influenced today’s design through their history. Inspired by the great crossroads of ancient civilizations, the show highlights Anatolian and Middle Eastern design with an atmosphere reminiscent of the Silk Road, a historic trade route that linked the East and the West, creating a vital hub for cultural exchange within the territories that it traversed. Such is the rich exchange of expertise, craft, and traditional techniques presented by Middle Eastern participants to the wide international Milan Design Week audience. Grob also continues their collaboration with Isola as curator for this edition of Anatolia, while the turkish brand Before Sunset is the exhibition’s technical partner.

Dopo il grande debutto a Dubai, Isola porta a Milano la mostra Anatolia, che esplora il ricco patrimonio culturale delle regioni che hanno influnzato il design di oggi attraverso la loro storia. Ispirata al crocevia delle antiche civiltà, la mostra mette in risalto il design anatolico e mediorientale in un’atmosfera che ricorda la Via della Seta, storica via commerciale che collegava l’Oriente e l’Occidente, creando un punto cruciale per lo scambio culturale all’interno dei territori che attraversava. È questo il ricco scambio di competenze, artigianato e tecniche tradizionali presentato dai partecipanti mediorientali al vasto pubblico internazionale della Milano Design Week. Grob continua la sua collaborazione con Isola in qualità di curatore per questa edizione di Anatolia, mentre il brand turco Before Sunset è il partner tecnico della mostra.
