Add to agenda

Is One Life Enough? is Isola’s call to regeneration. The showcase features raw biomaterials, material research, and collectible and market-ready products crafted using sustainable and circular methods. It highlights the countless possibilities within a human, product, and material lifetime, emphasizing environmental consciousness and innovation. The exhibition was curated by Elif Resitoglu and Isola’s curatorial team. The exhibition set-up is made sustainable thanks to the partnership with Fantolino who supplied the recycled egg cartons used as pedestal bases, and Kineco who contributed with mycelium pedestal tops. Additionally, the first purpose-built material library in the UAE, Colab, presents a selection of innovative materials from their extensive archive. Like in the Isola Design Gallery, the Dutch Corner also extends to Is One Life Enough?, showing innovative and sustainable Dutch design with the support of the Netherlands consulate-general in Milan and curated by Wisse Trooster.

Is One Life Enough?
